We laid low this 4th. All family was out of town so we spent a quite day to ourselves. We planned on going to our ward's pancake breakfast, but when the alarm went off, Damian and I both hit snooze at slept in. That was a nice change for us as the kids usually start waking up at 6:30 and we were able to sleep in til 9:00. I worked in the office/ scrapbook room a majority of the day organizing and purging unnecessary items. I think I'm in nesting mode. I just can't be inspired to scrapbook in a messy space. Damian was going to finish putting together his new grill he got for Father's Day but instead decided to fry our hamburgers and not finish his project. He decided to start another project instead (typical man). I think there a quite a few now going. We went outside to light our fireworks at about 9:00. Olivia, as usual, was a stinker. She kept trying to follow Daddy into the street. She wouldn't look at the camera and the boys were sick of chasing after her. So as soon as we were finished, we went in. They boys were totally fine with that. So, in a nutshell-lazy day, bratty baby, crappy scrappy pix, sparkle boom, ZZZZZ. Best part- no stress or major responsibility. Hope your 4th was great too!!!
I am married to the most amazing man and mother to four of the greatest kids! I am a kindergarten teacher and I love being in the classroom! I set out on a mission a few years ago to learn as much as I can about photography so that I could have beautiful photos of my children. I was bit by the photography bug! My experience includes shooting weddings as a secondary and primary shooter and working a few years for a photographer as an assistant in several aspects of the business. I enjoy sharing my work for others to see. In my not so copious spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking (digi and paper), blogging, and shopping!!!
