I can't believe my baby girl is four!!!! In a blink of an eye she went from this sweet baby
to this beautiful little girl!
For her birthday, we invited her friends to a Shabby Girls tea party. All the girls had a complete makeover. Their nails were painted, they got a fancy hair-do with a tiara, and make-up applied. They got to dress up, eat fancy food, & make candy necklaces. Yep, I went overboard! Worth every penny! The hostesses were fantastic and made every girl feel like a princess! Shabby Girls is also a trendy kiddie couture boutique so of course we couldn't leave without a bit of shopping! I got some really cute outfits for Olivia's four year old portraits. Scroll down to see the slideshows of her party. I had just as much fun as the girls did! Thanks to all of our friends who helped to make her birthday special! Feel free to download any photos from photobucket. If you'd like them without the watermark, just let me know what you'd like.

I am soooo crazy busy lately! Having lots of sessions and wrapping up the end of the school year has left little time to CR8! I did find the time to make Olivia's B-Day invitation. It's soo cute!!! Perfect for her party theme.

Last weekend, my Granny turned 85!!! Grandpa, the big boys, and I made the trip to visit. Damian and the little ones stayed behind as Olivia had impetigo. Not the kind of gift we'd like to give Granny. Granny was really mellow, not very talkative. I think it was all a bit much for her. She had her favorite cake and Herbie helped her to chow on that. Those of us (to remain nameless) would sneak Granny Pepsi. I guess she's not supposed to have liquids without thickener. She kept asking for it and dangnabit, it's her party!!!! She did ask where the boos were. We had to draw the line there.
We left Granny to nap and all headed over to Sizzler. Sorry no pics. Too busy at the salad bar! We had a great visit with everyone!
So to my family: I went ahead and put the pictures into a photobucket slideshow. All the pictures are uploaded as 5x7. Click on view images on the slide show feature. It will take you to photobucket. They is an option at the top to buy photos. You can upload them to Target and print whatever you want. You can also click view album and download them to your computer. If this set up is not working for you, let me know and we'll find another way to get these to you.

Someone appreciated me so much that they let me have a ticket to see...
OMG!!!!! Paramore! I HEART Paramore! The band that inspired Stephenie Meyer as she wrote Twilight! The band that has songs on the Twilight Soundtrack! The band that Olivia loves rockin' out to while playing Rockband! AHHHH! When Olivia's favorite song "That's What you Get" was played I of course called home and let her listen.
Oh, but they were just the opening act for...
Can you believe it!!! A past parent of mine, Lisa and I were chatting during our school carnival last week. We like to get our little girls together for birthday parties and such. Her family is the neatest ever! She was telling me that her hubby bought her tickets to see No Doubt. My jaw open and envy in my eyes I told her how jealous I was. Her response..."I have an extra ticket, do you want to come?" Ummm, let me think about that one a minute....Heck yah! I offered to pay for the ticket and she declined, can you believe it!?! She introduced me to her gal pals as the best kindergarten teacher evah (or something like that)! BLUSH! Thanks Lisa! You Rawk!
Damian was totally jealous! Neener, neener, neener! Love ya babe! Next time they are here, you and me-K!
I heart Lisa and her friends!!! We had a blast people watching in disbelief the Ho-fest that took place amongst the crowd. Who knew you could bump and grind without a pole to "I'm Just a Girl"? Quite an eclectic group of people in my hometown! Teenie boppers wearing tshirts...well just tshirts, cougars groping strangers while on a date, unattractive people making out(yuck!). Good thing I only took my bridge camera as I wore beer and wine from the drunks that passed by. My lil camera didn't do too bad. Here are a few more pics:

So a bunch of us girlies that play together over at Scrap Matters were inspired to design a free Summer kit. We are otherwise known as the Design Star cast off's. In other words, we were in a design competition, and didn't make it to the end. So rather than feeling defeated, we chose to make someting, just for fun. I am the last stop on the blog train. You should have arrived from Jude's blog . If you got lost along the way or stumbled upon my bloggy and want to get the whole kit, you can go to Carols' blog. She is the first stop.
Here is my part of the kit:
Here is the preview of the mega kit!

Yay!!! Finally a kit for all my Ensenada pictures!!! Check out Wendy's new kit Viva Fiesta!!
Here is what I made with it:
For our 10 year wedding anniversaries, a bunch of our closest friends decided to take a cruise to Ensenada. We had a blast! Except for the fact I was sick as a dog as I had just found out I was pregnant with Jack (not seasick). So I was of course over the moon when I got my hands on this kit! I can't wait to scrap the rest of the pics!
Disclaimer: No worries LDS friends, those drinks are virgins!
Go here to get Wendy's kit.
