Hey, Nicholas here and I got news to share. I finally got my braces on today. I chose blue brackets and they look so cool. The only thing that stinks is the food that I'm not allowed to have. I even got to miss some school today.
Other cool news, I'm moving on in the science fair. I present my project tomorrow. I'm so EXCITED!!!!!! Wish me luck.
**UPDATE** I got second place out of the whole SCHOOL for the 4th grade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This means I'm going to the county competition!!!! Can you wish me some more good luck, please??? Thanks!

Awww... congrats Nick, and I like the post by the way. I have braces too, and they can be pretty bad when it comes to the food you can't eat, but just hang in there tiger! BTW: Congrats on winning second place at the science fair! You'll have a lot of fun at county, just make sure you bring a book to read while you wait for the judges... You are so adorable!

The braces are very cool. My son is eight and he will need a ton of braces pretty soon. He is very worried about it. Did the braces hurt when they put them on? What kind of foods can't you eat? I never had braces (I really wanted them though), so I am no help to Gordon.
What did you do for your science project?
Nicholas here and the braces didn't actually hurt when they put them on, just when the rubbed the inside of my lip.The food I can't eat is hard and soft food and candy. It really stinks but you'll get used to it I guess.
