Damian forgot our anniversary AGAIN! So I indulged in a little retail therapy to ease my broken heart. Nothing grandiose, just a few hours at my favorite store...Target!!! This purse makes me smile!

Let's think of it this way. Every time my hubby sees it, he'll remember how ticked off I was. I love the purse too much to let it be a reminder disappointment for me ;0).
I almost always forget our anniversary. I contend that when you recieve your endowments on the 15th, get married on the 16th, and have a reception on the 17th (of January), it is just too, too much. I mean, just when you are coasting back to regular life from the wackiness of Christmas... BAM!! the anniversary hits. Besides, we also have a child's birthday in January. TOO MUCH!!!
Neither of us forgot, but Christmas gift saturation hadn't quite passed us over by the time our anniversary arrived this year -- there was just nothing we wanted. In lieu of gifts, we opted for a nice, homemade, family dinner. -- I cooked it... and then cleaned up.... and then we played some wicked games of Othello and Guess Who with the boys. In short, it was absolutely perfect.
I do LOVE your new purse though!!!
but did you do anything for him? If i recall it takes two to get married it is both of your days just not one.
